In 2009 SIU Carbondale started construction on their “Saluki Way” project which included extensive renovations to Saluki Arena, construction of a new football stadium, and new sidewalks, stairs and ramps to connect the arena and the football stadium. Samron was proud to be the concrete contractor on these projects. Saluki Way has become an iconic location on the SIU campus, and is a favorite place for students, residents and visitors to Carbondale.
